Biography


Dr. Jun was born in South Korea and immigrated to the U.S. with his family in 2001. He lived in the Bay Area from 2001 and then moved to Roseville in 2016 to settle permanently with his family.

Dr. Jun has worked with patients from various ethnic backgrounds. He met his wife while attending university in Japan, and they have been married since 2000. He graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor’s degree in Administration from a university in Tokyo, Japan. He then completed his Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the University of East-West Medicine in Sunnyvale, CA.

His specialty is integrative pain management and psychiatry. Dr. Jun uses various methods, including Master Tong’s Style, Four Needle Technique (Sa Am), and Ju Heng. He also utilizes electro-acupuncture, cupping, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises.

Dr. Jun and his wife have one son. He enjoys sports, outdoor activities, and cooking. Dr. Jun strongly believes in a holistic approach to healthcare, considering the patient’s overall health and the interconnectedness of bodily functions, which he finds superior to traditional methods.
