About Dr. Jun
Dr. James Jun, DAOM, L.Ac., was born in South Korea and immigrated to the United
States with his family in 2001. Since settling in the Bay Area, Dr. Jun has built a
meaningful life rooted in community and clinical service. In 2016, he and his family
made Roseville their permanent home.
Dr. Jun brings a multicultural perspective to his practice, having treated patients from
a wide range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in
Business Administration in Tokyo, Japan, in 2000, where he also met his wife, to
whom he has been married since that same year. Together, they have a son and enjoy
an active family life centered around nature, sports, and cooking.
He later pursued advanced education in traditional medicine, earning both his Master
of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Doctorate in Acupuncture and
Oriental Medicine (DAOM) from the University of East-West Medicine in Sunnyvale,
California.
